Last August 9, the Student Life Organization Inc. (SLOI) successfully launched the SLOI Art Club as part of its projects for students. In collaboration with Robinsons Galleria Cebu, the organization held a special art exhibition titled “R Craft & Design Collections” from August 9 to 17, 2025.
For the first time, our student beneficiaries had the opportunity to showcase their creativity and artistic talents, especially students with disabilities, who were given a platform to shine. Participants came from different schools, including Mandaue SPED School, USJR SHSCH Art Club, Bradford Cebu, Cebu Normal University, and Southwestern University, with student volunteers assisting throughout the event.
The exhibition also featured works from mentors, who not only displayed their art but also served as role models and sources of inspiration to the students. Teachers and parents showed their full support, making the event even more meaningful.
We are grateful for the positive feedback we received, highlighting the impact of the exhibition on the community and the youth, as well as the value of the art workshops that gave students an avenue to freely express their creativity.
