Our recent mission trip to Bantayan Island marked a significant milestone in our outreach efforts, primarily serving to establish a formal connection with the BMF church leaders. During this visit, we presented our core mission and explored how our shared visions for the community align, laying the groundwork for a transparent and fruitful partnership. We were met with an exceptional level of hospitality and engagement, and we are deeply honored by the BMF leadership’s openness to a unified approach, which we believe is essential for driving lasting change.
The discussions focused heavily on the long-term development of the island’s youth, emphasizing the need to merge our resources with local expertise to create structured, impactful initiatives. Moving forward, our collaborative efforts will prioritize mission alignment to ensure programs resonate with local values, the design of specific educational and mentorship frameworks for Bantayan’s students, and the establishment of a sustainable support system that extends far beyond a single visit.
